1. How to Write the Perfect Prompt

Writing strong prompts is the single best thing you can do to get high-quality output from AI tools.

The entire field of "Prompt Engineering" is dedicated to mastering this, with many different frameworks available.

But there's an easier and more effective method: using the prompt generator within the Anthropic Console.

You simply describe your task in a short sentence, and Claude (Anthropic’s LLM) automatically applies advanced prompt engineering techniques behind the scenes, giving you a ready-to-use prompt that you can copy, tweak, and reuse as needed.

At first, I thought this might be just another tactic to squeeze extra money from users (since this feature isn't free—you'll need to purchase credits starting at $5).

But after testing several examples and cross-checking results with prompts created manually, I now see its genuine value—particularly since the generated prompts neatly include XML tags for clarity.

Here's a quick video demonstration, showing the Anthropic Console in action using the prompt: "Write me a prompt that helps me triage customer emails."

If you want to give it a try

  1. Go to https://console.anthropic.com/

  2. Buy credits (minimum is $5)

  3. Click on “Generate a Prompt”

  4. Enter the high-level request and click "Generate Prompt”

2. All You Need to Know about AI Agents as a Leader

AI agents are specialized artificial intelligence systems designed to perform tasks independently or with minimal human oversight.

Think of it this way: if AI tools like ChatGPT are the brains of a human, then AI Agents are the body. Instead of just answering questions, they do things for you.

You can delegate tasks to these digital assistants—they'll analyze information, make decisions, and take actions autonomously, making your workflow simpler and easier.

There are two types of agents

1) Horizontal Agents (General-purpose)

These agents handle tasks that apply across multiple industries and roles.

Examples:

How leaders use them:

To save time on repetitive tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing inboxes, and automating routine workflows, enabling leaders to focus more on strategic and high-value work.

2) Vertical Agents (Industry-specific)

These agents are specialized to perform tasks within a particular industry or area.

Examples:

  • Healthcare: Virtual diagnostic assistants (e.g., Ada Health)

  • Sales & Marketing: Lead-generation bots (e.g., Drift)

  • Finance: Automated financial planning assistants (e.g., Cleo)

How leaders use them:

To streamline domain-specific operations, improve service accuracy, handle compliance, and deliver tailored solutions that significantly improve organizational performance and customer satisfaction.

The takeaway

AI agents offer leaders an immediate way to boost productivity, automate routine tasks, and sharpen industry-specific workflows.

Most leaders will first benefit from horizontal agents (e.g., scheduling or email automation), as these quickly free up valuable time.

But as your organization grows, you'll naturally shift toward specialized vertical agents to deepen industry expertise and gain a competitive advantage.
